Shopping at Loch Ness and Inverness Scotland
Where to Shop
Aspenwood Holiday Cottage is situated in the Highland village of Inverfarigaig which is on the quieter south side of Loch Ness. The cottage is midway between Fort Augustus - where there are small stores and a petrol station - and the City of Inverness.
Aspenwood is about 16 miles from Inverness driving along the southern shoreline of Loch Ness passing through the village of Dores and
the Dores Inn. Just before reaching Inverness you will see the new Tesco Store which is the nearest one to Aspenwood so it is very handy for shopping and petrol. This is open from 6am to midnight.
Tesco Extra Superstore is open 24 hours and is on the outskirts of the city on the A96 Inverness to Nairn road. It is part of a complex of stores including Comet, Homebase, Argos, Pet City and several more. Ample parking/petrol station.
Asda Online is available for delivery to Aspenwood from their Nairn Store. The proposed new Asda Store in Inverness is due to open next autumn 2012.
